My Journey

I come from a family of entrepreneurs, and deep down, I always knew I wanted to create something of my own.

After spending over 15 years data crunching in market research — and another few years in real estate — I found myself completely burnt out after having my second child. I stepped away from the corporate world to focus on my family, thinking I’d return once life settled.

But somewhere in the beautiful chaos of raising two boys, I reconnected with the things I’ve always loved: baking, creating, and making things with my hands.

What started as stolen moments in the kitchen quickly became something more. Inspired by my children and the joy of crafting something meaningful, Meihem Cakes was born — a space where I could build with heart, color, and a little controlled mayhem.

Where Passion Meets Craft

I’m a self-taught baker and artist with a deep love for creating fun and beautiful things — whether it’s through visual arts, craft, sculpting buttercream, or layering color on a cake.

From a young age, I’ve always been drawn to the arts — from pencil sketches and charcoal drawings to oil painting, sculpting with playdoh then to clay — finding calm and joy in creating with my hands. I began baking in secret at just 9 years old, sneaking into the kitchen to try recipes I’d seen in cookbooks and cooking shows, eager to explore the magic of making something from scratch.

Meihem Cakes is where those two worlds collide.
Every cake I make is a blend of structure and spontaneity, discipline and joy. It’s where messy becomes magical — and every custom bake is made to feel one-of-a-kind.

💫 This is Just the Beginning

I didn’t go to pastry school, instead I studied Economics— but I’ve never let that stop me. If I can imagine it, I can usually bake it.

Every day, I’m learning, testing, rolling, piping, and growing — building a business that’s as bold and sweet as the cakes I create. This is just the beginning, and I’m so excited for where it might go.
