💰 Deposit & Refund Policy
All orders at Meihem Cakes are confirmed only upon full payment. This secures your baking slot and ensures we can source the necessary ingredients and materials for your design.
🧁 Custom Cake Design Consultations
If you’re unsure of the design or need help planning a custom cake, a consultation fee may apply. This fee will be waived upon confirmation of your order.
📅 Lead Time & Final Confirmation
– Custom cakes & cakepop towers: 7–14 days’ notice
– Bento cakes, cupcakes & general cakes: 5–7 days’ notice
– Delivery charges, if applicable, may be arranged and paid separately 1–3 days before the delivery date
🚫 Cancellations & Refunds
As a small-batch home bakery, we begin planning, sourcing, and in some cases, preparing your order well in advance. As such:
– No cancellations are allowed once payment is made for standard cakes, bento cakes, or cupcakes
– For custom cakes or large event orders, cancellation is only allowed 14 or more days before the delivery date and will be subject to an admin fee (consultation fees will not be waived)
– Partial refunds may be considered if cancellation occurs within 7–14 days, depending on how much work or preparation has already begun
– No refunds will be given for cancellations within 48 hours, or for late pickups, change of mind, or dissatisfaction with subjective aspects like taste or design style
🔁 Rescheduling
We understand that plans can change.
– Rescheduling is allowed with at least 7 days’ notice and must be moved to a later date
– Requests to move an order to an earlier date are subject to availability and may incur a rush fee
🌧 Force Majeure
In the rare event that we are unable to fulfil your order due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g., illness, power outages, equipment failure, or natural disasters), we will contact you immediately to discuss the situation.
– A full refund will be offered if we are unable to deliver the product
– If there is a delay, we will communicate and find the best solution together
