Meet the Baker
Hi, I’m Mei (Michelle) — the hands behind Meihem Cakes.
I’m a self-taught baker and artist with a love for all things sweet, colorful, and just a little bit chaotic. After 15 years in market research and a few years in real estate, I took a step back to focus on my young family. During this time, I reconnected with the creative passions that have always brought me joy.
I come from a clan of entrepreneurs and have always had the itch to build something of my own. From a young age, I was drawn to the arts — pencil sketching, charcoal drawing, oil painting — anything that let me work with my hands. At just 9 years old, I started baking in secret, sneaking into the kitchen to try out recipes from cookbooks and cooking shows.
Meihem Cakes brings together my love of baking and artistry. Every creation is a blend of structure and spontaneity, discipline and joy — where messy becomes magical, and every custom bake feels one-of-a-kind.
Though my background is very technical, I’ve always believed that if I can imagine it, I can create it — and often, bake it too.

Meihem Cakes operates as a registered sole proprietorship under the business name “Little Platters”, licensed in Singapore. Every bake is lovingly crafted in a clean, safe home kitchen — because your peace of mind is just as important as the taste.

To order, please complete the order form and Michelle will respond via email within 48 hours. Please provide as many details as possible in order to receive an accurate quote. Custom orders require 7-14 days advance notice. Pickup at Braddell View Condo (closest MRT Braddell or Caldecott).
