🚚 Courier Delivery Policy
We offer islandwide delivery at $13, fulfilled through our trusted logistics partner with a dedicated fleet of drivers. Delivery is available daily between 10:00am–7:30pm, and preferred timing should be confirmed at the time of order. Delivery outside these hours may be discussed but could incur a surcharge.
Customers may also arrange their own courier or pick-up partners (e.g., GrabExpress, Lalamove), but please note that Meihem Cakes is not liable for any damages once the cake leaves our premises.
📦 Delivery Conditions
To ensure your cake arrives in good condition:
– An insulated bag is required for all refrigerated cakes sent via courier (including third-party arrangements).
– Bags can be purchased from us at $2–$5 depending on cake size, and must be confirmed at least 1 day before delivery.
– No early pickups allowed, as your cake may still be in progress.
📍 Address & Timing Requirements
– Final delivery address and preferred timing must be confirmed at time of order
– Any changes to the delivery address must be made at least 1 hour before dispatch
– Last-minute address changes are subject to driver availability and may incur a second delivery fee, even if the original delivery is cancelled
– If redelivery is not possible, customer may be asked to self-collect at the scheduled time to avoid order cancellation
⏰ Receiving the Cake
Please ensure someone is home to receive the cake. If no one is home at the agreed time, the driver will leave the cake in a safe location.
Once delivered, Meihem Cakes is not responsible for damage, melting, or loss due to missed handovers, improper storage, or handling.
🌧 Unexpected Delays
While we do our best to deliver within your selected time slot, please allow for a 1 to 1.5 hour buffer as delays may occur due to road accidents, rain, or route congestion during multi-stop deliveries.
📸 Proof of Delivery
We recommend taking a timestamped photo of your cake upon delivery. This ensures we can address any concerns swiftly, if needed.
